“The piano ain’t got no wrong notes.”

there’s interesting story about this quote that i’ve been trying to piece together.  some guy on the radio was talking about all the music Monk was able to create because he used the wrong notes all the time to create his unique music.  Monk heard this on the radio and called into the station (WKCR).  he told them to tell this to the guy on the air.
